Ordered 20″ standard contour barrel in 6×6.8. Couldn’t be happier with it. Chamber is smooth and head spaced perfectly. The gas port is perfectly sized, not over gassed like most ar barrels you get these days. Ive had zero issues with it. Throat length seems to be tailor made for seating an 80 grain Sierra boat tail Spitzer bullet out into the lands and loaded round fits in a magazine with room to spare. I’ve shot groups with it that were 1/4 moa. It seems to shoot about any 243 bullet I have really well. Velocity I’m getting is surprisingly high for this short of a barrel, I believe the polygonal rifling works as advertised. I’m not seeing any copper fouling so far like you will with normal lands and grooves. This is definitely a keeper as far as I’m concerned. Ritch is very knowledgeable about his products, I wouldnt hesitate to buy from him again.
